A lab-grown diamond is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond — same carbon lattice, same hardness, same refractive index — grown in a laboratory rather than pulled from the ground, and graded on the same GIA and IGI scales for cut, color, clarity, and carat. The practical difference is price per carat, which is why a five-carat lab-grown stone is reachable where a mined equivalent is not. Every stone we source arrives with its own independent grading report, and nothing is set until you have seen that report.
Every commission begins here — with the stone itself. Through our sixteen-supplier network, Curtis personally sources the laboratory-grown diamond your design requires, presents it to you with its IGI grading report, and waits for your approval before any bench work begins.
Round, oval, cushion, emerald, princess, pear, marquise, radiant — half a carat through five carats and beyond. Colorless D through near-colorless H. Fancy pinks, blues, yellows, greens, champagnes. Every stone IGI-certified, every report verified live, every diamond reviewed in person at our Bethesda atelier or by close-up video before it enters setting work.
